English-speaking attendees are more than welcome at the Chienposium conference! Although it is primarily a French-language event, translation will be provided for you or your group during each presentation.

Below is a English list of some of the topics :
- Dr. Simon Gadbois, ethologist and senior instructor at Dalhousie University, will provide an update on current research and controversies. He will give three presentations over the course of the weekend.
- Djanick Michaud, hunter and author of “Le Chien Rapporteur de A à Z”, trains his Rustic (Red) Golden Retrievers to retrieve using only R+ methods. He will lecture and conduct a practical workshop.
- Dr. Catherine B. Lavoie, Certified Animal Chiropractor, will introduce chiropractic for animals.
- Irving Strapart, head of physical rehabilitation at the Hôpital Vétérinaire Rive Sud in Brossard, Québec, will present physiotherapy as a means of preventive and rehabilitative treatment for sporting dogs.
- Dr. Eduardo Gazol, veterinarian and director of the veterinary centre in Xalapa, Veracruz (Mexico) will discuss how he helps heal his patients through pain management and rehabilitation with the use of a clicker! (Presentation in Spanish and English).
- Ken McCort, owner and operator of Four Paws training center in Doylestown, Ohio, and popular speaker on canine behaviour will present his seminar: Animals & Intentional Thinking (in English, of course!).
- Patrice Robert, R+ trainer in the Montreal area for over 20 years, will present Le renforcement positif en 4e vitesse (“Positive Reinforcement in Fourth Gear”).
- Francine Legault will conduct a nose-work workshop on Sunday afternoon while Myriam Chevrier, Veterinary Technician in the ICU at the Centre Vétérinaire Laval, will present on First Aid for dogs on Sunday afternoon.
- Nancy Tucker, CPDT-KA, will conduct a tricks and games fun-time during the canine recesses on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
Dogs are welcome too! There is a boarding facility on-site to accommodate vocal dogs during the presentations. If you register online, please check the box indicating your dog will be accompanying you.
